I am honored….
to be asked to photograph a couples wedding day where I am documenting a family’s celebration, creating the heirloom images that will be shown of their momentous day for generations to come. It is just so amazing to even be a small part of that!
I have been a photographer since 2005 photographing news, editorial, family events, and portraits. I studied photojournalism at college in Chicago and after graduation moved around a bit living in Ohio and Texas for a few years working as a photojournalist for a couple of daily newspapers. In late 2007 I moved back to Chicago and started out as a freelance photographer. When returning to Chicago I helped a friend shoot a couple of weddings and here I am!
In 2016 I left Chicago to help care for family and took a break from taking commissioned weddings during that time, now in 2018 I have moved to Minneapolis where I hope to reestablish my wedding photography business with some new awesome clientele.
listening to NPR or when editing photos, tea & coffee, to watch documentary films & programs, to read nonfiction books, love my three fur kids Chloé, Chance, & Stella (all Boston Terriers), hiking, trips, know a little Spanish & French, to use my passport……
While living in Texas I had the opportunity to freelance for publications such as The New York Times, USA Today, Houston Chronicle, Dallas Morning News, and the Associated Press. When in Chicago I freelanced for the Chicago Tribune and the Sun Times News Group & have won plenty of photography awards too.
I can’t wait to hear from and learn more about you!
