I

I recently had the pleasure of working with Asel for a dark edgy boudoir shoot idea I had, using mainly natural light with some of my off camera lights as fill lights. She rocked an art de co inspired black bodysuit in addition to her tattoos which completed the look I was going for. I loved the purple and pink tones my Minneapolis, Minnesota based home studios curtains produced with just some natural window light too. This being one of my first boudoire portrait shoots in quite awhile I am very happy with the results! Check back soon as I will be adding more sexy intimate portraits to my portfolio soon! I made this mauve pink burlesque feather fan years ago for one of my first boudoir photography shoots for a wedding bridal client back in Chicago. I am so glad to be able to use it again as it is part of my client closet that includes lingerie, bodysuits, accessories, and props.

My studio is in a vintage building in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. It has gorgeous wood floors and a dark wooden trim around the windows and baseboards with gray walls. Tons of natural light with the south facing exposed windows as well.

I love using this large dual window in my home photography studio. I hung some crisp white curtains so that it would filter the natural window light so that I can get beautifully lit portraits like this one.

If you would like to schedule a boudoir photography portrait session take a look at my online calendar for availability and where you can set up an appointment at my Minneapolis Uptown home studio. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have too.
